Biogas is a very effective solution for treating water in shrimp farming. It helps keep things clean and also produces gas for cooking, which saves electricity and reduces costs for my family. After siphoning, the shrimp pond water is filtered through a mesh bag to separate solid waste. The solid waste includes dead shrimp, shells, leftover feed, and shrimp waste, which can be used for livestock such as ducks or fish. Smaller particles pass through the mesh and settle in the first sedimentation tank. The water then flows into a second tank for further settling before moving to a primary settling pond. After being settled twice, the water is completely clean and can be pumped back into the pond for reuse. The shrimp waste, after salt is removed, is diluted with fresh water and used growing fertilizer for plants or producing biogas.

Mangrove trees such as Rhizophora and Avicennia provide cooling shade for shrimps and crabs and create a natural organic environment for them to grow. These trees also help absorb greenhouse gas emissions from the mud at the bottom of the ponds.

The solar panel system provides renewable energy to replace coal-based electricity for running water pumps and lighting shrimp ponds. Thanks to this, my family can manage our power supply, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save costs, and help protect the environment, moving toward long-term sustainable production.

Compared to traditional models, circular shrimp farming helps save water and land, so farmers do not need large pond areas. The water environment is kept stable without water exchange, which helps shrimps avoid diseases from outside and reduces the cost of operating water pumps. The model does not use chemicals, only biological products, which helps reduce chemical residues released into the environment and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
